Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's wedding: A vision in white

Following the trend of intimate weddings, Bollywood love bugs Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor got married on April 14th 2022 in the presence of family and close friends at their residence, Vastu in Mumbai’s Pali Hills.

The couple looked heavenly decked in all white ensembles from Sabyasachi. Always being the one to experiment with looks, Alia Bhatt chose to wear a sari for her wedding ditching the traditional lehenga.

She stunned in an ivory organza Sabyasachi sari embroidered with fine tilla work and an embroidered handwoven tissue veil. Perfectly accessorized with Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery featuring uncut diamonds and hand strung pearls.

Ranbir Kapoor made a handsome Sabyasachi groom. He wore an embroidered silk sherwani with uncut diamond buttons, a silk organza safa and shawl with zari marori embroidery. Paired it with a multistrand pearl necklace from Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery. The traditional kilangi also by Sabyasachi features uncut diamonds, emeralds and pearls. In addition to the coordinated ivory outfits, the couple wore baby’s breath jaimala to match with their outfits and the jewelry.

Alia Bhatt as a bride is a lesson in how minimalism is the new elegance. With her minimal mehendi, no-makeup makeup look and her ever radiant smile, Bhatt looked effortlessly gorgeous on her big day. She let her hair loose in soft curls and let her maata patti do all the talking.
