10 bridesmaid outfits inspired by Alia Bhatt

Styled by celebrity stylist, Ami Patel – the Manish Malhotra ensemble features an intricate chikankari work in neon green all over the lehenga and the blouse on a pink base. It is paired with a soft matching dupatta.

The star of the show was the infinity blouse which had an interesting cut at the bottom almost like a reverse sweetheart neckline which made everyone curious of the new trend.

Alia Bhatt was spotted in a gorgeous nude-pink ensemble from Faraz Manan which featured a minimal bralette, high-waisted matching flare pants and a cape. The heavily embellished cape was the highlight of the outfit and enhanced the crop top and pant set.

Alia Bhatt dazzled in a brick brown Papa Don’t Preach ensemble which features a floaty tulle lehenga with an extraordinary blouse and a matching dupatta for her close friend Rhea Khurana’s wedding in Jaipur.

The lehenga although looks plain has a heavily embellished large flower motif, crafted in neon glass cut beads and sequins. The blouse, which is definitely a show-stealer is embellished with pearls, reflective sequins, glass beads and glass cut beads. It is paired with a matching brick brown tulle dupatta embellished in sequins and mirror acrylics to complete the look.

Alia Bhatt’s sharara and blouse set from Manish Malhotra is made for the pre-wedding festivities. From the vibrant base palette to the intricate floral thread-work embroidery in multiple colors, this one is definitely bookmark worthy for a bridesmaid’s outfit.

Alia Bhatt wore this to one of the pre-wedding ceremonies of her BFF’s sister Anusha Ranjan. The vibrant pink sharara came with a fuss-free matching cape instead of a dupatta with embroidery along the borders.

She picked this royal blue Manish Malhotra outfit which is actually a pre-draped saree for her friend Devika Anand’s wedding in Delhi. It features a sharara bottom and a custom drape over it to give a modern take on the sari.

She styled this glittery ensemble with over-sized silver earrings and matching maang tikka by Amarapali Jewels and a silver potli.

7. Pink Arpita Mehta Sari

Alia Bhatt looked pretty in pink wearing a fuchsia pink pre-draped sari by designer Arpita Mehta for her friend Rhea Khurana’s sangeet ceremony. The best part of the sari was the ruffle details which gave a modern twist to an otherwise ordinary sari. It came with a strappy embellished blouse that matched perfectly with the scalloped gold and mirror work detailing along the border of her sari.

Wearing a Manish Malhotra neon green lehenga for the sangeet of Anushka Ranjan and Aditya Seal, she switched it up to a traditional silk sari for the wedding. Looking effortlessly elegant and beautiful in the yellow gold Kanjivaram silk sari, she matched it with a lavender silk blouse. She accessorized her sari with a traditional jhumka, a black bindi and put her hair back in a slick bun with traditional jasmine gajra around it.

9. Rosaria Lehenga by Kresha Bajaj

For the sangeet ceremony of her friend Kripa Mehta, Alia Bhatt chose to wear this blush embellished from the ace designer Kresha Bajaj. The Rosaria Lehenga featured a rose pink 3D floral blouse and lehenga with hints of green, embellished with handmade flowers in organza, glass beading and rhinestones.

10 points to Alia Bhatt’s stylist Ami Patel for choosing this lightweight, foil printed lehenga from Anita Dongre for her friend Devika Advani’s Mehendi. This breezy ice blue lehenga and the strappy blouse in lemon yellow gives that effortless chic vibe and makes for the perfect bridesmaid outfit.
